Description
Teams will fly into exotic Victoria Falls, Zambia. The falls are traditionally known as “The Smoke that Thunders†because of the mist that rises as the water falls into the rocky depths of the Batoka Gorge hundreds of feet below. The Tonga tribe live in the area surrounding the falls and are ruled by urban legends and mysteries told by their ancestors about giant snakes and dominions in the skies. Overland Missions' teams bring light and truth to the people of the Tonga tribe.
During the day the teams will disperse into the bush on expedition trucks displaying the love of Christ. The team will remain camped at the falls every night. Victoria Falls is ranked as one of the best places in the world for adventure sports such as, white- water rafting, elephant riding, and jet boating. Though ministry will be our main objective, time will be made for some adventure sports. |
