All Consuming Fire
There are seasons when every kind of ministry feels like a job. Moments when administration, finances, and communication procedures seem to take up too much time. In order to minister in excellence, we spend a lot of work and time planning and preparing for every outreach, every expedition, and every ministry event.
And then there are seasons when the Holy Spirit is heavy and speaks loudly. Worship consumes your soul, and productivity is at an all time high. Loving others is easy...loving God even easier. As believers, it makes little difference to us the season.
We stand before the same throne, worship the same faithful God, and function in the same righteousness regardless of our feelings or of the flow of ministry at the moment. But it sure is sweet to be here right now… “Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.” -Hebrews 12:28,29.
We believe that acceptable worship allows us to see the consuming fire that our God is. Consuming enough for R14 base, for Zambia, for Africa…for the Nations!
