Those who hunger and thirst will be filled!

On our recent trip into the bush, we were greeted upon arrival with singing and dancing. The villagers had built us a make-shift yard complete with kitchen area from branches and grass, using bark as rope tying it all together. There were even mens/womens toilets and bathing rooms made of grass! What an honor and blessing to us all that this was already done for us. During the days we would go minister throughout the villages hut-to-hut and in the evenings and nights we would have big meetings with the community as well as sit on the ground with the headmen and pastors to answer questions about life or struggles that they have no answers for. No one ever goes in to minister to them one on one, so they never have anyone to teach or disciple them which is so important in life. We all have pastors, parents, or friends who are educated in the Word, or we can usually get on the internet and find whatever we need to know. These people have no one and no resources. The need is extreme...... Then in the nights we had more meetings that would often break out into singing and dancing that at times would last until well past midnight! They were praising JESUS for His goodness and for salvation that only comes through Him! Dancing around the campfire to the point where there is so much smoke and dust you could hardly breathe, could you imagine 2 or 300 people at once??? How glorious it is and what an experience! All in all, we had an unbelievable time despite the intense heat. I will do it everyday if it causes them to grow in the Lord or come into relationship with Him. The night of dancing was only what I could have imagined Heaven to be like at the same exact time, all of Heaven rejoicing over all the souls who came into the Kingdom of God that week! In 5 days, we ministered to 1,933 people, had 303 salvations and over 100 healings and deliverances!!! This is what we are called to as Christians, as a people of God! We are to take His love and grace to everyone everywhere! If we don’t who will? If you don’t go, who will? We all have something to share and a part of our life to give, we have to breathe the life of Christ to all those around us, this is who we are, you might just be the only Bible they will ever read! Love you and thank you for the prayers and support you give! In His Grip JD Brown
