Four Hours Hiking to San Isidro
Posted by: Martin Lopez on October 30, 2011 | Staff Blog

Once we arrived in Iruya, Salta we met with the leaders of the local church and planned out the following three days. We ministered that night and saw the power of God move greatly in that place. The next morning, we begun our four hour hike up a dry river bed to the settlement of San Isidro.
Communities within a day's walk from each other lay all over the region in need of the good news of Christ's potent freedom message. Some of these communities are very dangerous and inhospitable. Our team was able to reach one of the closes ones to Iruya this time and minister there alongside pastor Viviano.
Overland teams will walk alongside these high-altitude mountains to support the local church and encourage the work being done here. The people rely on horses, walking and occasional ride from delivery or government trucks. We need you to continue praying for the people of this region to receive the good news and for local believers to mobilize into this area.
