One Culture

One thing I found while ministering in the Salta region of Argentina was a diversity of culture, beliefs and history. These communities are high up in the Andes mountains and have been settled there for generations.
The people carry themselves proudly of their heritage and it is evident all around. I begun to learn more about their Inca, Guarani and other native ancestry only to find the same result; culture is not sufficient to fill the void inside humanity.
We brought the far more reaching and fulfilling culture that transends all other cultures... the kingdom of God culture. This culture correctly identifies who you truly are in the light of Christ's redemption. You can see God's clear opinion of you and how valuable you are to carry out his message of hope to the nations.
Our agenda was not to bring a western culture nor to attempt to modify their natural culture; it was to introduce God's message of hope to mankind regardless of their shortcomings an failed attempts to motivate God. The local church needs encouragement and teams to carry the undiluted message of salvation only found in Jesus Christ. We will be supporting these communities and raising local leaders to get the job done!
