Sector Management Produces Much Fruit

Sector Management holds together all the work Overland Missions carries out and provides a model for sustainability. The success of Sector Management is seen when the indigenous church and its leaders are at the helm of pioneering the next step in the work.

The following testimonies come from one of those indigenous leaders who, having been sown into themselves, are now sowing what they have received in their local communities.

Obert shares this testimony from Chibalani Village, Zambia on 5 May 2011: See Chibalani Village here! “A little boy with a problem of a swollen face got healed when the laying on of hands in the Name of Jesus had been declared. This was in Chibalani Village. A certain woman had an eyesight problem for about three and a half months but when Pastor Dragan commanded the pain to go.

It obeyed and she was made well in Jesus Name. Another women also had an eyesight problem for some days and when Pastor Hendrix commanded the eye to be healed, she was made well in Jesus Name. Jacob Siatubitubi got filled by the Holy ghost while Pastor Dragan was still counseling him through some scriptures. He was so filled with joy as he was testifying to the glory of God the Father. The Holy Spirit was present at the crusade it was seen as he convicted people to make decisions of receiving Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

He was working in people’s hearts to the extent that some people felt very hungry in their spirit as they asked for the continual discipleship in their village."

Obert also shares this from Sibusenga Village, Zambia on 12 May 2011: “A certain woman had a problem of a demonic power which she got from a false prophet who was a diviner and she was give a necklace from the same diviner man for the protection. When she attended the crusade, she heard about how Jesus came to die in her place to give her freedom and eternal life.

The word was so powerful such that she got convicted in her heart that she was supposed to give her life to Jesus Christ. And finally she approached me for deliverance and when she received Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior she got delivered. She also renounced the demonic power of the devil and decided to cut the necklace that was around her neck.

In the same process the Holy Ghost came and filled her such as she found herself down as she got overwhelmed by the joy of salvation which reminded me of a certain scripture in Isaiah which says with Joy shall you draw water from the well of salvation. A certain women with a problem of asthma and a knees problem attended the healing session and received her healing. The asthma, the knee pain died in the name of Jesus Christ.

The woman was very happy as she testified about how Jesus touched her and healed her. She continued glorifying and praising God for the miraculous healing. Another woman had a chest problem for about three years. She had been to hospitals frequently but there was no solution for the problem. Instead the problem grew worse and worse. Finally she visited the witchdoctor for her same problem but there was no help for her sickness.

She also went to a false prophet who was a diviner but even there were no solution for her problem. So when she heard about the Jesus Film crusade she had an expectancy. The film begun and she saw how Jesus demonstrated his love for the different people with different problems in life. She saw Jesus healing a blind man, raised a girl who had died back to life, calming the storm and how he overcame the devil.

Faith began to rise in her heart. The word got preached in a simple way that she understood it. Finally she had responded to the word. When the opportunity was given for sinners to make a choice of receiving Jesus into their lives, she came to the front to receive Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior. After that she got prayed for, she received her healing right away.

The woman was so happy that the joy that beamed from her face. She saw Jesus healing her from a sickness that troubled her for about three years just in some minutes. A certain young man got delivered from beer addiction when he received Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. He praised God for the deliverance that took place in his life.

The word of God was preached with such conviction that everyone in the crusade responded to Christ Jesus. Indeed the word of God got planted in people’s hearts and there was a great hunger for God in their hearts. People started longing for the word of God as they requested for bible studies to be done regularly in their villages.
