Imagine yourself in a region that has been neglected and almost forgotten by your countrymen. You rarely receive visitors and though you may know the name of Jesus, you’ve never experienced the power of the Gospel. This is just a glimpse of the spiritual and cultural dynamic you’ll encounter while on your expedition to the Dominican Republic. Without a true revelation of Jesus Christ, the empty pursuit of a meaningless life will lead to death. The Message you bring as an ambassador of Christ is the only hope for change in a culture that is infused with syncretistic religions*.

Objectives

Your expedition will focus on evangelism and discipleship as you preach the Gospel and strengthen the local church. Your team will be a part of Overland Missions’ vision of sector management, pioneering into new regions, building lasting relationships and empowering the indigenous church to reach their own people.
