There are many who dream about changing the world, but in proportion, very few that will make the sacrifice to leave the comforts of family, home and church to pursue their dreams.

Nothing is ever accomplished by sitting and talking alone. Vision casting is important, but words spoken by themselves, no matter how sincere, and not enough! The power of your faith is only put into motion by your actions. Changing the world requires something of us, something radical, something that forces a decision to action from deep within us, never to be regretted. This usually occurs as the power of our dream and vision refuse to allow us to sit comfortably by and watch while the world goes to hell around us.

Hear my heart. You can certainly change the world by active, vital participation in a local church. You can win souls, heal the sick and cast out demons right from the neighborhood where you live. You can change the world by becoming a successful Kingdom business man and living to fund the gospel in the world.  God will make you wealthy if you will empower the gospel to the nations. There are many ways you can successfully add to the Kingdom from your city, state and country. To others though, that is not enough…

Is there something deeper in you that cries for expression and release? Do you think in terms of nations, foreign cultures and of people that will never be reached unless someone like YOU goes to them and touches them in the way that a track and a “Jesus loves you” will simply not do. When I was young, I used to dream of people of a different color and language. Sometimes I would wake up in the country I saw in my dream, and have to have to pray long before I could go to the office. Is this you?

You may only be a young teenager, or a frustrated 30, 40 or 50 something. If these words are touching your heart, and provoking a response from deep within, we have a way for you to connect with your vision and dream no matter what your age or history. Its time to take action in your life.

Many years ago, the Spirit of God witnessed within me that I was not to live a “normal” life, but to live in such a way that provoked those around me to true life and greater faith. I am not sure what “normal” really is, and my definition of has changed over the years.  What the world calls normal however, God calls an abominaton. A radical gospel needs radical people who are moved to throw off what the world calls “normal”, and dedicate their lives to live and die for the one who saved their eternal souls. Are you that kind of Radical? I think so!

Are you tired of the same old same old, and in need of connecting with the God given side of you that cries for action and fulfillment?  You need to join our team! Joining our team is not a difficult thing for those who want to see the world changed, and are ready to do what’s necessary to make the dream happen.  After all, what else are you going to do with your life?

Let me tell you about the opportunities that Overland Missions offers to the action ready heart.

Expeditons; We gather, train and send short term mission groups to areas of rural Africa or the Amazon in Brazil. You will go places and minister to people far off the beaten path. These are usually   10-14   day excursions aimed at saturating a village with the gospel.  It is designed for hearts that don’t want to spend another vacation hanging around the house doing nothing.  They are for the hungry of heart that want to help us empower a village with the demonstration of the gospel.  Church youth groups join us every year, as well as people who want to powerfully add to their own life experience. It is an opportunity to look into the world of power missions. You will have an opportunity to witness, preach and generally give the enemy a tough time.  Miracles are typical, and people who go with us for these ventures into the rural world are always changed in mind and heart.  You will return to your home and churches a very different person. This is not a tour group or an adventure vacation. It is a way for you to venture into the rural third world where very few actually go.

Advanced Missions Training (AMT): This program is the doorway to full time ministry with Overland Missions. AMT is a three month training program that is educational, difficult and anointed to prepare you for ministry anywhere in the third world.

In AMT you will live with us on our base outside of Livingstone, Zambia. Our base is on the edge of the Lower Zambezi river, just a few short miles from Victoria Falls. You will be exercise daily, eat simply and will live with others in a safari tent. You will be mentored by powerful anointed leaders, who will help you become familiar with the conditions of the rural world where millions live and die everyday. Most of the world does not have a clue as to the actual life conditions of rural Africa, or what it takes to minister here. Here you will be trained both in class rooms and villages. We will stretch your comfort and compassion levels while you see and feel what it is like to minister hands on in the third world. You will learn from anointed, long term missionaries the things like simple theology, survival techniques, medical first response, simple mechanics and ministry methods.  We will train you in depth, and give you an opportunity to practice in the field all the things you learn in the classroom. It is an opportunity to take three months and discover what is really in you. If you come out of the class successfully, you will be presented with the opportunity to join us full time, or in any capacity that you can willingly offer. Many of our graduates have gone on to full time missions in the field as well as in their home countries.  This class is for those that are hungry for real missions’ training on location.  I promise you, you will never be the same!

Sector Management:   Sectors are large blocks of rural territory in Africa.  They are already mapped out and waiting for someone to take them on. Sectors managers take the responsibility for the Gospel in their sector. They coordinate the activities of the different departments of Overland Missions to effectively minister in their sector. They work with the people in their sector to catalogue the villages and record the number of the people there, the people in need, and what their need truly is. Whether it is a new well, no well or aids medicine, the Sector Manager is on top of it.  This requires a great deal of maturity, sacrifice and a total dedication to the Lord himself. Jesus said “feed my sheep”, and this is what the Sector Manager must do, not in food alone, but in the releasing of the power of the Gospel to the people in their sector. This can be a daunting and sometimes difficult undertaking.  It’s not easy, but if it were easy, anyone could do it!  This is the opportunity of a lifetime for young men and women of faith and action who ready to do something besides talk about the lost and dying, and are ready to do something about it.  Our goal is to have 200 sectors operating by 2020. Perhaps one of these sectors is your! Will you offer yourself a sacrifice and own part of our vision? Let us help you find your place in the mission world.

MPD: People ask me all time about how to find the money to do what they would love to do. The issue of money has been a vision-stopper for long enough. MPD is a definitive program to help you learn to raise the funds you need to go and stay on the field for many years to come.  It is our way of training you to raise your money in a responsible and credible way. It is promised that God will always make a way for you to do the job God has called you to do. This is true. However, many missionaries have left the field greatly discouraged due to the lack of knowledge concerning money. Ignorance of money has aborted more vision than you can imagine. Not so with us, and not so with you!

Proper funding is necessary for you to be sustainable on the field. Sustainability is everything if you want to be fruitful and not constantly wonder where your next dollar is coming from.  If your funding is not up to the task, you can suffer great lack. Overland Missions is dedicated to help you become fully funded before you take your place in the field.
