One Tribe Missions Conference 2018
Throughout the ages, man has painted caves, chiseled rocks and built structures to imprint their mark in their generations. Join us at the Overland Missions One Tribe Missions Conference where we will imprint God’s identity and purpose in our generation’s heart in order to be empowered to take the Gospel to the nations. We want to ignite a passion in the church to see neglected villages in third-world countries transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God’s Son, Jesus Christ.
One Tribe refers to the vision and zeal of God to redeem all people of the earth back into His family, restoring the DNA of His nature in the nations. This is the mandate of world missions.
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28
Together with founder and president of Overland Missions, Philip Smethurst, there will be anointed speakers with decades of experience in third-world missions. The voice heard at the conference will be one of empowerment, vision and a challenge to uphold the commission of the Lord to make disciples of all nations.
We will dig deep into the heart of God in times of worship, fellowship with hundreds of others who share the same passion for the lost, and be awakened to a greater revelation of our identity in Christ. Opportunities will be available to ask questions of the speakers and leaders of Overland Missions in regards to the practical and spiritual aspects of missions. We will also hear testimonies from the field and learn how each one of us can be used by God to change lives and impact a nation with the Gospel.
Whether you are a ministry leader, experienced missionary, alumni of an Overland Missions expedition or AMT, or someone who is exploring the idea of missions for the first time, we invite you to join us at the 2018 One Tribe Missions Conference.
About Overland Missions
It was almost 20 years ago that Philip and Sharon Smethurst launched Overland Missions in Cocoa Beach, FL. However, the vision was conceived much earlier in Phil’s spirit as a young soldier. It was in the remote bush of Africa that he looked upon the faces of families touched by war and yet they had never heard the name of Jesus. Beginning with that experience, Phil committed to the Lord that he would take the Gospel back to these places and to people like them around the world.
From Angola to Zambia, Indonesia to Cambodia, from Argentina to Brazil and to so many other nations, the Gospel has touched the lives of thousands of remote peoples and transformed entire communities and cultures in the Kingdom of God. It’s not the result of one person or one couple but of an entire army of people willing to do whatever it takes to share the love of Christ…..and it’s just the beginning.
