RPN 2013 Newsletter

| Overland Missions

100_2551__medium2013 greetings!

This is our first newsletter of 2013, and we wanted to start it off by saying that this year has the potential of being the finest, most blessed year for all of us. God is telling all of us to go forward and upward this year.  Phil 3:12-14-“Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.  Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

This is our personal mandate and resolution for 2013! To bring all of our lives: ministry, method, kindred, faith and action to a new level of excellence for Him. How about you? We are praying for God to open up doors in all of your lives that will take you further this year than ever before. Our prayers for you may just lead you to visit us in Zambia this year where you can see the move of God there. You would never be the same I can assure you. However, no matter where you find yourself in 2013, believe for penetrating times of power and effective soul winning! The Lord will work anywhere with anyone who will make themselves available to Him.

Our time here in the States has been a good combination of ministry and fellowship with partners and friends. On the fellowship side, we have enjoyed our downtime here, and have had good times of fellowship with sons, wives and grandies. We have also had special times of public and personal ministry with some of you, and it’s been a joy. Our time is not over in the States yet, and we are looking forward to seeing as many of you as we can before we go back to our home in Zambia. We also thank those of you who have hosted us in your homes during our time here. You grace towards us is always refreshing to our souls. Thank you for receiving us as the Lord Himself!  You will not lose your reward…Matt. 10:41-42

On the ministry side, we have had good times of ministry this time home speaking into leaders and churches, as well as individuals. The downpour of Revival from Heaven we have seen in the cities we have visited (and the changed lives that follow it!) causes us to rejoice with you! The times of revival and the transformation of cities is the Lords heart! We look forward to a continuing fellowship with our new friends and churches that we visited.

Returning to Africa:  Africa is calling out to us, and we are missing Africa! As it stands now, I will return on or around March 1, and Candi will return a month later. Isaac will remain here for a season working with the office in Merritt Island. Our work in Africa this year will focus on establishing a permanent presence in Moomba, as well as the rest of the Western area. Our team in larger making us more capable and our Land Rover is waiting for us in perfect working order…Its hard to wait!

Thanks for considering these things. Your support and prayers are the essence of partnership.  Nothing we do could be done without you!

Love you all, Jeff, Candi and Isaac Martin.
